The Race
went well, I suppose. I didn't come in last, but I'm not going to go throw out numbers or anything, because I definitely didn't come in first either. I went ahead and followed a rule of thumb I found in a magazine, to find one other competitor and choose them as my number one opponent. The guy didn't know that he was my enemy, but I sure did, and I attacked and was sure to beat him. Another exciting part of the race was when about a quarter of the way into it, a girl passed me in her aerodynamic helmet and skin suit. I was devastated as she passed me, but it just encouraged me to dig a little deeper and pass her on the hills and make sure she didn't catch back up. Well, thanks for all the support people, I hope that after some more training I can do some more races with better results.
