is the big day. My first official race, nervous to say the least. Been debating whether or not I actually wanted to do it...because of the nerves, but I would just let myself down if I didn't do it. I'm guessing it's going to be raining, which is okay, I've ridden in the Seattle rain long enough to know how to deal with it.
I like to think that climbing is one of my specialties, especially after always crawling up Beacon Hill back in the day. Once I get to the turn around is when I'm going to have to dig deep inside and push myself as hard as I can. I'm going to be using Eric Dickerson's bike, thank you very much sir, which is a Keith Anderson frame all campy equipped, needless to say it is going to be to my advantage. Ate a good hearty meal tonight and plan on munching on some peanut bars before the race along with a nice cup of coffee. Well, wish me luck and I will let you know how I did!
